Case study: British Gas Business

Britsh Gas Business fundraising event

In 2009, British Gas Business (BGB) chose Oxford Homeless Pathways as its ‘charity of the year’. BGB staff participated in a variety of fundraising events including cake and book sales, and on-site massages. The money they raised has been used to pay for training courses, train fares, emergency clothing items, specialist equipment to enable clients to access employment and many other essential items that our regular funding cannot cover.  BGB’s contribution has even helped pay for one client to retrain – as a gas fitter. What a “fitting” use for British Gas Business’s money!
