We are interested in talking to companies who wish to build a mutually beneficial partnership with Oxford Homeless Pathways (OxHoP).
There are many ways your company could be involved. For example, we could be your 'Charity of the Year', or you could sponsor our library or IT suite. Please contact Kirsty on 01865 304614 or email to arrange a meeting to discuss your objectives and interests.
Case study: Infineum
Infineum is a world-class formulator, manufacturer and marketer of products used in automotive, gasoline and diesel fuels. And in 2013 they made us their ‘Charity of the Year’!
Over the year the Infineum team organised a huge array of fundraising events, including a sponsored car wash with some of our residents, a team of cyclists riding from Manchester to London in 24 hours, a football tournament, a charity auction and even a group doing sponsored weight loss, ‘InTHINeums’!
We were really lucky to have these guys on board for a year, and their dedication and creativity was very impressive! Over the year they raised over £20,000 for us, and all the money they raised went towards Step Up, our training, education and activities programme.
It was a privilege to support Oxford Homeless Pathways as Infineum UK’s 2013 Charity of the Year. The great work that they do in supporting the vulnerable in Oxford made for an easy decision to support the charity.
We were able to do a number of events throughout the year to raise funds and we had a high level of colleague involvement which shows a support for the charity throughout the organisation. OxHoP were able to bring some of their clients to site to do a car wash for colleagues which was an enjoyable activity for them and our colleagues with sparkling cars!
Through a number of visits to O’Hanlon House I was able to meet with staff at OxHoP and witness first-hand the support that they provide and I hope that they can continue to raise support, long into the future, for their vital life changing work.
Matthew Roberts – Infineum
Infinuem is a great example of what successful corporate social responsibility can do. Not only did they raise a large amount of money for us, but we came together as a team, and helped each other with ideas and events. We hope they got as much out of the experience as we did.
Case study: British Gas Business
In 2009, British Gas Business (BGB) chose OxHoP as its ‘Charity of the Year’. BGB staff participated in a variety of fundraising events including cake and book sales, and on-site massages. The money they raised has been used to pay for training courses, train fares, emergency clothing, specialist equipment to enable clients to access employment and many other essential items that our regular funding cannot cover. BGB’s contribution has even helped pay for one client to retrain – as a gas fitter. What a ‘fitting’ use for British Gas Business’s money!
Thanks to all the staff and management at BGB and Infineum for your generous support.
