Buses run very regularly - every 7-10 minutes from the city centre.

Oxford City bus service number 5 or Stagecoach service number 1 go from outside Marks & Spencer and from Carfax.

It's also within walking distance - a nice walk through the grounds of Christ Church College.

Shopping/living

Cowley Road has plenty of shops, from Tesco and Co-op to corner shops.

You can charge gas and electric keys at the Post Office, which is open until 11pm, and at the newsagents opposite Tesco.

The area has lots of restaurants and coffee shops. “I like Kebab Kid for value.”

There is a launderette on Cowley Road.

The main charity shops are Oxfam, Barnardo's and Age Concern.
