Connection Outreach Service

Connection Outreach Service is funded to verify and support rough sleepers in the following districts of Oxfordshire:

  • Cherwell
  • South Oxfordshire
  • West Oxfordshire

Connection Outreach Service staff provide a rapid response to people sleeping rough in these areas. This may be in response to sightings of rough sleepers which have been reported by members of the public. They may be referred directly into O’Hanlon House’s Assessment Centre, depending on their level of need and local connection status.

Connection Outreach Service works on the principles of the No Second Night Out (NSNO) model, with a clear message that sleeping rough is not an option, is harmful to health and, at worst, can be life threatening.
